I am expanding my private studio for music composition instruction.
In addition to work on the craft of composition as it applies to a work in progress, I address
topics which are relevant to the training of a successful, professional composer.

Over the past
16 years as an instructor, my students have gone on to advanced studies at UCLA, USC, the New England Conservatory, the University
of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, Boston University and have participated in the Bowdoin Composers Festival and the Berlin Summer
Course.
Others have gone on to work in the music industry in Southern California,
become freelance composers across the country and have been represented in a variety of music festivals.
